Negative taken for July 28, 1959, Arkansas Gazette article "Giving It a Twirl - Training Pretty Majorettes," E1:1. The Twirling Clinic was held at Arkansas State College in Jonesboro, Craighead County, Arkansas. More than two-hundred (half from other states) teen-age girls from many communities (forty-one Arkansas towns represented) practice baton twirling in the ten day clinic.
